A quick test for my "sound & image" animation. The drawing is actually anamorphic- drawn in an elongated, distorted way, so that when viewed from a specific angle it gives the illusion of being 3d.
Something a little bit like the amazing chalk drawings by Julian Beever.
The idea is to animate a loop of an elk galloping (based on a set of photographs by Eadweard Muybridge) and animate in chalk directly onto the surface of the desk, rubbing out and redrawing as I go along.
