Rains

I have been looking for this film (by David Coquard-Dassault for the national film board of canada) since I saw it in annecy last year but it's nowhere to be found on the internet yet. Here is the longest clip I've seen, I just wanted to post about it because I think it's lovely and I'm thinking of using it as inspiration for a music promo I am going to be doing for catgut.
I love the stillness of the film and the way the limited (yet beautifully observed) movements of the animation take on a big feeling as a result. I think it could be a good way to go given that the track I will be working with is 5 minutes long and time is short as ever. less is more.
